Kanyakumari is the southernmost point of the Indian mainland, where the Arabian Sea, the Bay of Bengal, and the Indian Ocean converge. What makes Kanyakumari geographically distinct — is the confluence point: the same spot where sunrise and sunset can be witnessed over ocean in all directions, and on full moon days, the moon rises as the sun sets.
