Traveling India shouldn’t be harder than it has to be

This is why we built Intodia — and what we believe travel here should look like instead.

Why we built this

The problem we saw

Ask anyone — whether they've been or not to India — and most of them will tell you how it feels like: confusing, overwhelming, unsafe. For those who haven't gone, it's pieced together from blogs, videos, and someone's rough trip. For those who have, it's often exactly what they experienced. Either way, that story is sticky, and it keeps millions of travelers away before they ever look closer.

What we found isn't one single problem — it's a chain, and every link feeds the next. It starts with accessibility: the confusing, scattered system — e-Visa portal, train and bus bookings, permits, card declines, OTP failures. From there, one stage leads straight into the next:

Stage 1 of 6

Scattered systems

None of this is unsolvable. It just needed someone to start. That's what Intodia is.

What we believe

Solve one link,
reverse the chain

Those stages are not inevitable — breaking even the one link of chain changes what happens at every stage after it.

Start with accessibility, instead of 100s of scattered, confusing websites, one platform for everything required to travel India from arrival to departure — and confusion drops immediately. Less confusion leaves less room for anyone to exploit it. With everything in one place, a real price and real information in hand, a traveler can make an informed decision instead of a guess. Informed decisions mean fewer bad moments on the ground. And fewer bad moments mean the story that reaches the next traveler looks different.

The mission is simple: make independent travel in India as easy as it should have always been.

A story, an idea, or feedback?

We might not have all the answers, but we're trying to fix something that's been broken a long time — the confusion, the scattered systems, the guesswork that makes India harder to travel than it should be. If you've traveled to India and have feedback, an idea for how it could feel easier, or want to work with us on the mission, we want to hear it.
