Kaziranga National Park is located in Assam. The park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for the largest population of one-horned rhinoceros. Wildlife includes Bengal tigers, wild elephants, water buffalo, swamp deer, and over 490 bird species.
The landscape consists of grasslands, wetlands, forests, and the Brahmaputra River floodplains.

Elephant Safari is available only in the early Morning session (5:30 am to 7:30 am). The safari is typically for an hour only.
Zones
Central Range (Kohora)
This is the main tourism zone. Jeep and elephant safaris are available in this range.
Western Range (Bagori)
Jeep and elephant safari is available in this range.
Eastern Range (Agaratoli)
Jeep safari and boat rides on the Brahmaputra River are available in this range.
Burapahar Range (Ghorakati)
Only jeep safari is available in this range. The terrain is hilly with forest cover.
