Kanha National Park is located in Madhya Pradesh. The park is known for the hard ground barasingha (swamp deer). Wildlife includes Bengal tigers, leopards, dhole, sloth bears, gaur, Indian python, and over 300 bird species. The landscape consists of Sal forests, mixed forests, and grasslands.
The reserve has three main entry gates: Khatia, Mukki, and Sarhi.

Vehicle and guide charges are collected at the park gate before safari and shared equally among passengers for single-seat bookings. Premium days (weekends) attract extra 25% fees on permits.
Safari permits are booked online. Permits open 120 days in advance for normal and 7 days for premium bookings.
